Wyler Family Foundation Donates Dodge Ram 4x4 to Haiti Relief Effort

Recently the Wyler Family Foundation and Jeff Wyler Automotive Family donated a Dodge Ram 4X4 pickup to aid in the Clinton/Bush Haiti relief effort. After receiving an email from the National Automobile Dealers' Association asking dealers nationwide for help, we knew our Cincinnati Dodge dealer could assist.

They were trying to acquire 100 four-wheel drive trucks to help deliver necessities like medicine, food and water to those in dire need in Port-Au-Prince and the surrounding areas. "We couldn't stand by and allow the human suffering from this natural disaster to be compounded by the lack of reliable four-wheel drive trucks to move the aid," stated David Wyler, President of the Jeff Wyler Automotive Family. In conjunction with Matthew: 25 Ministries all the Wyler dealerships collected cash donations, bottled water and other non-perishable items that were shipped off to bring more aid to the Haiti earthquake relief.

 

Chrysler Recall - Brakes Issue includes Jeep and Dodge

Chrysler issued a recall today for several Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge vehicles that need to have a defective part replaced in their brakes.  Models include some 2010 Chrysler Sebring and Dodge Avenger sedans, Dodge Nitro, Jeep Liberty, Jeep Commander and Grand Cherokee SUVs, and 2009 and 2010 Dodge Ram trucks.  

The recall is to replace a defective brake booster rod retaining clip which is necessary to consistent and proper functioning of the brakes.  The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has not reported any crashes or injuries as a result of this problem. Chrysler workers discovered the problem during quality assurance tests at one of their assembly plants in the past few weeks, and Chrysler is acting aggressively to replace this part.

This Challenger's Story - The Jeff Wyler Automotive Family is the owner of the Wyler Racing team, racing in the NASCAR Camping World series.  We purchase our race truck engines from Joey Arrington who has built race engines for NASCAR for over 30 years.  Joey Arrington knew that we were a Chrysler/Dodge dealer and asked if we would work with him to build a new Challenger.  We gave this 2009 Challenger to him to rebuild.  The customization took almost 5 months and was completed by the VERY BEST in the business, this is a FIRST CLASS job by the premiere HEMI engine builder.  The vehicle was extensively road tested, and then taken to various HEMI car shows, and we believe this Challenger is going to be highlighted in the MOPAR magazine later this fall.
