conditionally approved by the US Department of Energy for a 1.6 billion loan to
modify one of its US Nissan plants to produce zero emission vehicles on June 23,
2009, partnerships are already being made with cities such as Seattle, Phoenix, and San Diego.

The Cash for Clunkers program (CARS) is coming to an end. After a wildly successful run, the US government has announced that the CARS program will formally come to an end on Monday, August 24th. The Jeff Wyler Automotive Family has been an active participant in the Cash for Clunkers program from the very beginning, and was one of the leading dealers in the nation to prepare for this program in early June, and the first dealer onboard in the Cincinnati, Dayton, Frankfort, and Clarksville (greater Louisville) markets. The Eco Assist feedback displays on the 2010 Honda Insight teach you to drive green! My latest demo has been the new Honda Insight hybrid, and while driving between Cincinnati, Dayton, Florence, and Frankfort, KY, I have been learning about how to drive with the best fuel efficiency by paying attention to the multiple displays that the Insight provides to give you valuable feedback.
The speedometer on the Honda Insight is mounted at the top of the dash for easy viewing, which keeps your eyes on the road. However, this display shows more than just speed. The background color of the speedometer changes colors while you are driving to give you visual indicators on how fuel efficient your driving is. If you are accelerating and braking smoothly, the background color is green. However, if you start to accelerate or brake hard, the background color will change to blue, telling you that you are burning more gas than necessary (watch the video to see for yourself).
It doesn't stop there - the multifunction display above the steering wheel has a real time indicator as well. A bar graph moves back and forth to show how you are accelerating and braking. If you brake or accelerate too hard, the bar moves into the "gray zone" on the far right or left, showing that you are not driving with optimal fuel efficiency. At the top of this same display you will see small "plants" that grow while you are driving well. If you are driving green, the plants begin to grow leaves, and even flowers. If you stop driving "green", then the plants begin to "shed leaves" and die...
Another display on the multifunction display shows your real time mpg, as well as a visual graph of your fuel efficiency in mpg for your last 3 trips.
While it may sound silly - I have to admit that the 2010 Honda Insight has taught me a lot about my driving around Cincinnati and our other market areas. The visual feedback indicators have shown me where I am burning more gas than necessary with my driving habits, and in the process, have made driving "green" a bit of a game. In the same respect, while doing my best to drive "green" to work during rush hour, I have had a lot of people give me nasty looks and gestures as I am accelerating and braking slower than everyone else, lol... Overall, I think the design team at Honda has done a fantastic job with the new 2010 Honda Insight Cincinnati. This Challenger's Story - The Jeff Wyler Automotive Family is the owner of the Wyler Racing team, racing in the NASCAR Camping World series. We purchase our race truck engines from Joey Arrington who has built race engines for NASCAR for over 30 years. Joey Arrington knew that we were a Chrysler/Dodge dealer and asked if we would work with him to build a new Challenger. We gave this 2009 Challenger to him to rebuild. The customization took almost 5 months and was completed by the VERY BEST in the business, this is a FIRST CLASS job by the premiere HEMI engine builder. The vehicle was extensively road tested, and then taken to various HEMI car shows, and we believe this Challenger is going to be highlighted in the MOPAR magazine later this fall.
